Elder Betty Angela Donkor entered the University of Science and Technology to do a Bachelor of Science Degree in Land Economy and was privileged to be one of the pioneers of the UST branch of Calvary Road Incorporated, an evangelistic ministry she joined during her sixth form.
Her spiritual experience with Calvary Road on UST campus had a tremendous impact on her Christian growth and laid a solid foundation for her call into Christian ministry which the group was deeply involved in both on and off campus. At UST she was an active member of the Inter Hall Christian Fellowship (IHCF) and served as the vice president of the Africa Hall Christian Fellowship.
In Calvary Road she had a rich experience of ministry work in various dimensions and depth and ministered with the group in various towns and villages. She was a member of the Calvary Road Singers, and later, the prayer wing of the ministry. Betty later served on the executive board as leader of the women’s ministry. She had the opportunity in 1994 to be nominated for Christian leadership training at the Haggai Institute in Singapore.
Elder Betty was called to serve as a deacon in Harvest Chapel in 1996 and as a member of the Board of Elders in 2007. She is a Marriage Counsellor and has oversight responsibilities for the Harvest Children's Ministry (Kiddy Haven). She is also the Head of the Harvest Reapers Ministry and serves on the Finance and Project Committees of the Church. Currently, Betty serves as Administrator at the Head Office of Harvest International Ministries.
Elder Betty Donkor is a Land Economist by profession and a Director of Brookside Services Consultancy, Relocation & Property Management Consultants. She's a member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) and Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS).
Elder Betty has been married to Bethel Agyeman Donkor since 1988 and their marriage has been blessed with two daughters.
